My dongue isthill sthore...

Well, that's how it would sound if I said; My tongue is still sore!

And it's not like it hurts a lot, only when you move it which is, let's face it, all the friggin' time! If it isn't to swallow some saliva (I think the glands are producing "extra" just to make me hurt more), it is the constant touching of the teeth. I must talk a lot - even when I'm home alone...

I've tried everything, even the less appealing stuff such as gargling in salt-water. I do like salt, a lot, but not like this. Anyway, that did not help at all. I retched a little afterwards. So I am now onto the thing where I numb the darned tongue with ice-cubes in really cold water.

Picture this; an absolute idiotic looking 20-something year old woman, walking around in her flat with her tongue sticking out so it can reach into the glass filled with water and ice-cubes...

... and you have me!

I know and share the feeling right now. Because of my fudging cold I have like a cut on the tip of my tongue which feels like 1000 needles everytime I talk, eat or breathe. Gaaaaahhhhh!
