Boyfriend and I have been searching high and low for a replacement for The Wire and The Sopranos - the best TV-shows to ever have been created. But so far to no avail. But we've heard and read a lot about Mad Men so decided to give it a go.
Now, while I don't dislike Mad Men I am also not overly fond of it. Yes, it's good and I probably would have liked it more if I hadn't already seen the other two.
Boyfriend, however, is really liking it so we're starting on the 2nd season this weekend. What annoys me the most is that I haven't found a favourite character in the say I had with The Wire (Omar and several more) and The Sopranos (Silvio). We'll see how it progresses but I just want Peggy to go ... to a galaxy far far away.
