Playing House

For the first time ever* I honestly felt like punching Boyfriend last night. Apparently he's got a 'proper' job so he needs his sleep...

Proper?!

And I am just playing 'dollhouse' with Baby N, dressing him up in cute outfits and then putting him back in a box? Or what?! At least he can leave his 'job' at 6pm whereas I worry and am on 'duty' 24/7 - and I am not complaining as it's totally worth it but it would be nice to, for one night only, sleep for more than 2 hours a stretch.

He realised what he'd said pretty much immediately but by then I'd already turned my back on him. Rat Bastard.

it's not that I don't understand what he means and I also know that there are people out there who get a lot less sleep than I do but, to be blunt and rude, it doesn't make me any less tired and I'm also not sure I care about other people's sleep patterns.

Oh well, what's a ball at the castle, eh? I'd better be off and prepare some lunch in my make-believe oven.

*it's not a violent household - it was just a tired "thought-response"
