Spent Saturday night in the neighbouring county with some friends. It was good fun although I think I would have enjoyed it a little bit more if I hadn't had such a horrible headache. It started sort of early on and I downed a couple of aspirins but as the night progressed I felt more and more nauseous. S&E had booked a table at a really nice restaurant and I thought I'd feel better if I ate a bit as I'd only had had a sandwich 9 hours earlier.
My starter came and I looked at it. And promptly gave it to Boyfriend. I managed to have a tiny slice of the garlic/pizza bread which was absolutely lovely. The waiter, who by the way seemed to be fairly drunk, put the mains on the table and I looked at mine. And gave it to Boyfriend. I just couldn't do it. I would have thrown my guts up if I had eaten the tiniest piece from the plate. It smelled nice and looked nice but no. I managed to eat a chip (french-fry). it cost £25.
It was really odd but I felt fine a couple of hours later (probably because everything I'd had to drink for the past 4 hours, water & coke, decided to exit the same way as it had entered). Not so nice but it made me fell better.
E's bought a horse and I'm so jealous in a "I'm-really-happy-for-her-but-oooooooh- I-wish-it-was-me!!" kind of way. The horse seems to be a really nice and I think it's a perfect match. Saying that, I really want one too! and one day I will...
