Armageddon and Noah's Ark

Most of the time I don't have anything to do and my life just passes by without any major events happening. Not that the past week has introduced any such 'major events' but I've been busy, I haven't even had time to go on the internet. Horror!

Thursday I had to run home to get ready or the engagement party for J&G and though I left early my sleep was interrupted by Boyfriend's horrible snoring...
Friday - work and then a rush home to get ready for a work-do where I stayed longer than I should have. It was ok but since I almost N E V E R drink, most of Saturday was spent wallowing in self-pity and being reminded that I prefer soft drinks when nice, light cocktails are unavailable. The things is though, that if I had had lots of drink then I would not have complained at all (maybe a little) but I only had like 3 glasses of wine and a glass of champagne. I've become such a lightweight which is ironic as I weigh lots more than I used to. Anyway....

Boyfriend was an absolute treasure during the whole of Saturday, making me bacon sandwich for breakfast - yummy! - he itched my back when I was grumpy and I looked like I don't own a hairbrush and during my afternoon nap he went out and got me some of the absolute necessary brown fizzy soft drink. Later in the day he carried all the grocery bags home from town when we'd been for our walk.

It is slightly different from when Boyfriend has been out and I make him get out of bed early to got for a walk with me as "it gets better if you get out in the fresh air!". If he's said that to me I would have slapped him. It only goes to show how nice he is and how I am ...not.

Anyway - we're off to Chatsworth for a Country Fair and hopefully take lots of nice pictures with our fantastic cameras -if I could cuddle mine, I would. I've been told that there will be a petting zoo, which means that there'll be loads of kids below the age of 7 and me!!
