Child Psychology by Ems

I'm sure we've all seen the ads or perhaps even in real life - where a child throws a temper tantrum in a store and the parent (usually on his/her own) can do but watch.

Today I almost created one such scene all on my own. Boyfriend and I were at Waterstones looking for a book for me. I fancied losing myself in a good book and I knew that I'd know what kind of book as soon as I saw it. But. I did not. See it. I walked around the store, getting grumpier and grumpier especially as Boyfriend moaned "just take one, there's plenty you'd like!"

In the end I was so upset that all I wanted to do was to throw myself on the floor, crying and cursing them [book store people] for not having exactly what I wanted. Needed.

Boyfriend saw my frustration and led me out of the store so I could cool off on my way home... In a way it would have been a nice way of letting the emotions out but I really don't fancy being banned from a book store.
